Mercedes-Benz To Show Tech At CES

Mercedes-Benz USA and parent Daimler AG will show off its new vehicle tech at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas on Jan. 10.

Delivering the keynote will be Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of Daimler and chief of  Mercedes-Benz Cars, who will talk about in-vehicle connectivity. 

At the show Mercedes will, among other things, demonstrate its mbrace2 cloud-based communications platform; the mbrace2 smartphone app, which lets drivers to communicate and send information to their vehicle before getting inside; Advanced Driver Assistance; DriveStyle iPhone app, which launches this year and allows drivers to do phone functions through the vehicle. 

The company will also show the F125! research vehicle meant as a design speculation on future trends. The company says the vehicle can do emission-free driving with a range of 621 miles.
