Jason Klein is out as President-CEO of the National Newspaper Network. In an email sent this morning, Klein said he was stepping down from the trade group responsible for promoting and fulfilling national newspaper advertising sales, because "it is time for me to move on to a new leadership role in the broader media/technology/information world. My last day at NNN is today."

Klein did not announce what that new role might be, but said he was "proud" of what he accomplished at NNN.
