Ford's "Gimme the Gig II" sweepstakes  teams up with Grammy Award winning producer Don Was and “Mad” Mike  of “Pimp My Ride” to build state-of-the-art recording studio in 2012 Ford Focus

The program gives musicians a chance to win one of three grand prizes to record a track with Don Was inside the 2012 Ford Focus Mobile Studio.

At the event,  on Thursday, Feb. 16 at Galpin Auto Sports in Van Nuys, Calif.,

Don Was and renowned car customization specialist, “Mad” Mike Martin will be on hand to discuss digital technology and modifications that went into creating the recording studio inside the 2012 Ford Focus.

Los Angeles based recording artists, Magnolia Memoir, will demonstrate the vehicle’s capabilities during a live recording session. Additionally, attendees will have the chance to test out the technology themselves; recording opportunities will be available upon request.
