Shell Brings Back WINsdays Promo

Shell is offering consumers a chance to save money on their fuel purchases every time the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Dodge takes the checkered flag in a points race during the 2012 race season.
Shell Saver cardholders will receive a savings of 22 cents per gallon when they purchase Shell Nitrogen Enriched Gasolines and Shell Diesel the Wednesday (or WINsday) following
the win by AJ Allmendinger, who is making his Penske Racing debut in the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Dodge.
If a points race ends later than a Monday, the savings is available two days after
the win. (For example, if Allmendinger wins a race on Tuesday, the 22 cent per gallon savings will occur on Thursday. Two non-points races will be run during the season: Feb. 18 and May 19, during
which the WINsdays promotion will not apply. The promotion will also not apply to the Feb. 23 duels.
With the race season kicking off Feb. 26 in Daytona and races running through Nov. 18, there are a total of 36 chances for Shell Saver Cardholders to save on their fuel purchases at Houston-based Shell.
Consumers can sign up instantly for a Shell Saver Card at www.shell.us/savercard. The offer is limited to 25 gallons per vehicle. Shell is promoting the program on a dedicated microsite at www.shell.us/winsday. The savings will be reflected on the cardholder's statement.
The Shell Saver Card is a non-credit payment
product exclusive to Shell that links directly to cardholders' checking accounts and offers savings at the pump. While Shell Saver Card earnings apply only to gasoline and diesel purchases, the card
can be used for any purchases at Shell-branded stations except lottery tickets.
Through Telecheck and the use of personal PIN numbers, the Shell Saver Card offers safety mechanisms that
enhance consumer security. Since the Shell Saver Card directly links to a checking account, applying for the card does not affect consumer credit scores, nor are there any application or annual
fees.
The Shell Saver Card makes organizing family budgets easier by using one card that lists all Shell fuel purchases and offers cardholders earnings every time it is used.
