Amazon.com and Discovery Communications announced a licensing agreement that will allow Amazon Prime members to stream prior seasons of hit series and specials from Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, Science and Military Channel, as well as content from the company’s 25-year programming library. Since the 2011 launch of Prime Instant Video, a subscription service of Amazon Instant Video, Amazon has added more than 12,000 titles to bring the title count to more than 17,000.
