Fox Gets A Charge From Volt

Fox News was apparently prowling the New York International Auto Show to dig up dirt against the Chevy Volt, which has become a whipping post for the more eccentric realms of the right.
Joe Nocero writes about how Volt owners gathered at the show with their cars and tried to figure out why the Volt has become, for some, an automotive Willie Horton. Even Bob Lutz, a conservative automotive legend who helped design the Volt, doesn't seem to get it. “It’s nuts,” said Lutz, when he spoke to Nocero. “This is a significant achievement in the auto industry. There are so many legitimate things to criticize Obama about. It is inexplicable that the right would feel the need to tell lies about the Volt to attack the president.” Inexplicable?
