Nearly half of Facebook users will never click on ads. The survey could have come at a better moment for the social network. Conducted by Greenlight, the study found that 44% of Facebook users “never” or will never click on ads or sponsored posts while using the social media site. In the study titled “2011-2012 Search & Social Survey,” Greenlight queried a group comprising people of all ages and occupations, including students, lawyers, accountants, and medical staff. Only 3% of respondents said they “regularly” click on ads and 10% admitted they “often” fall for the ads.
