Twitter Taps Graver To Forge TV Partnerships

Twitter has hired veteran TV executive Fred Graver to lead efforts striking partnerships in the TV business, reports Variety. Graver, who was a writer/producer for various shows, including "Cheers" and "David Letterman," will be tasked with forging ties between the social-media service and networks eager to utilize his new company as a means of promoting programming. Twitter has teamed with TV programmers that leveraged its viral potential, such as establishing voting for contestants on Fox's "The X Factor" and weather-centric tweets with The Weather Channel.
