Omnicom PR shop Porter Novelli has tapped Joe Shantz as senior vice president, digital analytics. He is tasked with the continued development of the agency's digital analytics products, services and team. Shantz joins Porter Novelli from Yahoo, where he was director, marketing insights. There, he was responsible for making audience and targeting recommendations, as well as campaign channel optimization. Before that, he was with social network MySpace as director, analytics for search and email campaigns. Previously, he held analytics and research positions at Turner, PHD and BBDO.
