Samsung Launches Galaxy Note Tablet

  • August 16, 2012

Samsung Electronics launched its new Galaxy Note tablet in three major markets Thursday, reports Reuters. The company offers a split-screen fuction and stylus-type pen to distinguish it from the iPad. Apple, however, has accused Samsung of copying its design and some features. The Note can have two apps active on a split screen; the S-Pen allows users to write on screen. Current plans are to price it at $499 with 16 gigabytes of memory and WiFi only -- the same as iPad.
