MPA Relaunches Web Site
MPA, the Association of Magazine Media, has revamped its Web site, www.magazine.org, for an
improved user experience and navigability to content including industry data, trends, research, guidelines, and information about events.
The MPA Web site is organized into several
content categories. For example, “Insights & Resources” includes research, data, trends, publications and guidelines for magazine media. It also hosts the Magazine Media Lab and
Magazine Advertising Case Studies, a database of ad campaigns that ran in magazine media properties that were particularly effective.
The “Industry News” section
aggregates industry-related headlines from the MPA, member companies, and external sources, including press releases, blog posts, social media feed and press articles. The “MPA Daily News
Roundup” is a members-only newsletter translated for the Web, which is updated by its editors live throughout the day; its archives are also incorporated into the site’s search.
“Advocacy Issues” updates visitors on the efforts of the MPA’s Washington office, which lobbies on behalf of the magazine media industry. Finally, the “Events
& Training” category provides information on a variety of conferences and professional development seminars, including a full-year calendar and online registration.

color insert will be delivered along with the national newspaper in markets including Washington, D.C. and Phoenix, according to Adweek. The trade mag quotes USA Today Sports
President Tom Beusse: “There are 12 NFL games every Sunday. There are 7,000 high school football games every Friday night in this country. It’s a phenomenon like nothing
else.”
