Medialets Raises $10 Million
Mobile rich media provider Medialets on Wednesday announced landing $10 million in a third-round funding led by Greenspring Associates. That brings its total to date to more than $28 million. The company said the latest financing would be used to accelerate the growth of its premium mobile and tablet advertising platform.
Medialets’ system is designed to provide a one-stop shop for mobile ad creation, media planning and buying, and ad serving and measurement across the range of mobile platforms, devices and browsers. Publishers including The New York Times, The Weather Channel and ESPN use Medialets to power their mobile campaigns.
In the last year, the company opened a private ad marketplace, opened an EMEA headquarters in London and was selected as the ad server for VivaKi’s “Pool” research initiative focusing on tablets.
