'Cooking Light' Makes Mag Recipes Scannable

Cooking Light announced that its January/February 2013 issue will use the Digimarc Discover platform to digitally watermark all 79 recipes in the issue. It will be the first mag brand to make every recipe in the issue scannable. The Digimarc Discover app is a free download on the iTunes App Store and Google Play. Users' smartphones can scan recipe photos automatically connected to the recipe page on sister-site, MyRecipes.com. Cooking Light will continue to make recipes in all future issues scannable and interactive using this technology. Cooking Light is published by the Time Inc. Lifestyle Group.
