Solbright has announced its involvement with the Macromedia Flash Advertising Alliance (MFAA) which launched today. This alliance of leading ad agencies, publishing sites, technology vendors and ad
networks will support and promote the further acceptance of Macromedia Flash advertisements, the announcement stated. The Macromedia Flash Advertising Alliance was formed in response to community
requests to address the critical issues advertisers, publishers and infrastructure players are facing as they begin investing in rich media. The group will meet quarterly to address a broad range of
topics that will be crucial to reducing cost and increasing the deployment of Macromedia Flash advertising, such as tracking standards, dimensions standards, and wireless advertising. MFAA membership
is open to all leaders in the rich media advertising space (www.macromedia.com/solutions/richmedia/mfaa).
One of Solbright's first initiatives as a member of the MFAA will be to release a white
paper addressing the issues and solutions for implementing Macromedia Flash technology, which is the most popular rich media creative format. Solbright and the members of the MFAA will work to
communicate the new standards and promote a wider acceptance of Macromedia Flash technology throughout the Internet advertising industry.
