NBC Sings With 'Voice,' CBS Gains Slight Uptick

Much remained the same for the broadcast networks for sixth Tuesday of the new season.

NBC won the night among key 18-49 viewers -- thanks to continued strong results from “The Voice,” at a preliminary Nielsen 3.5 rating/10 share -- even as the show was down nearly 20% from the week before. NBC was also down 10% with “The Biggest Loser” to a 1.8/5.

But because NBC ran two hours of “The Voice” this week -- from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. -- versus one hour a week before, its results this week during the 10 p.m. to 11 p.m time period (a 3.5/10) bested that of “Chicago Fire” numbers, at 2.1/6.
NBC was at 3.0/8 for the night versus a 2.7/8.

CBS gained a bit -- a 2.6/7 this Tuesday versus 2.5/7. Its big gun shows: “NCIS” (3.0/9) and “NCIS: Los Angeles (2.6/7) were about the same versus a week before. “Person of Interest" was down nearly 20% to a 1.8/5. Fox was the same week to week -- a 1.5/4, coming from a two-hour “X-Factor.”

ABC lost about a half a rating point -- to a 1.2/3, on the night. Much of this decline came resulted from a repeat of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” (1.2/4) versus an original higher-rated episode the week before. “The Goldbergs” posted a similiar 1.7/4 to its results of a week ago. “Trophy Wife” gained nearly 20% to a 1.4/4.

Univision was at a 1.3/4 and CW, a 1.0/3 -- similar results to what those networks earned in the previous week
