Facebook Ad Partner Shift Raises $6 Million

Shift, a Facebook strategic Preferred Marketing Developer, has closed $6 million in a second-round funding led by European venture capital firm DN Capital. That brings its total raised to date to $14 million.

The company said it would use the financing to support the international expansion of its Open Marketing Cloud. The suite of marketing apps allows brands and agencies to run marketing campaigns on social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

Shift launched its first overseas office in September in London and plans to expand into more international markets in 2014. James Borow, co-founder and CEO of SHIFT, said the funding capped off a year of 300% sales growth for the company, though the announcement didn’t provide an actual revenue figure.

Shift counts Sony, AT&T, Red Bull, Marriott and Unilever among its clients.
