Beet.TV interviewed Jay VanDerzee, media platform sales head at Google, about what Google has been doing in the real-time bidding (RTB) space.
VanDerzee says Google has been in the programmatic business for "quite some time" on both the buy- and sell-sides.
"Over the last two years, we’ve focused energy on online video,” he tells Beet.TV. “We’ve seen the market go from only a couple of hundred million dollars to probably around $4 billion in the US market, the growth getting to somewhere between and $8 billion and $10 billion over the next couple of years.”
