In the story, "Super Bowl Viewership Hits 105M, NFL, Kia Among Most-Watched Ads" (Media Daily News, Feb. 4, 2014), Rentrak's Ad Retention Index showed viewership climbing steadily to around a 100 index --- not 100 million -- rising to a 105 index number in the third and fourth quarter. In terms of actual viewers, Nielsen now says the game pulled in 112.2 million viewers.
