Digital media trade organization MITX and inbound marketing specialist HubSpot are joining forces to create a monster marketing event this fall in Boston.
The two groups said they
plan to essentially merge their two conferences-- MITX's Future M and HubSpot's INBOUND -- into one, big marketing spectacular that will take over the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center from
September 15 to 18.
“FutureM and INBOUND represent a championship pairing to make Boston the unmatched destination for marketing conferences in 2014. Boston has long been home
to leading agencies and marketing talent, so unifying two best in class conference experiences will make the city an even more prominent global destination for marketers--that’s something we can
all be really proud of,” said HubSpot Chief Executive Officer Brian Halligan, in a statement.MITX's event, FutureM, will feature keynote speeches from Ann Handley, chief
content officer at MarketingProfs, and Chris Penn, vice president for marketing at SHIFT Communications. INBOUND, meanwhile, is planning keynotes by Halligan, authors Simon Sinek and David
Meerman Scott, and HubSpot Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer Darmesh Shah.
A pass to FutureM will also get you into various events at INBOUND, such as the keynotes, happy hours and
INBOUND Rocks concert. Early bird prices for members is $300, $400 for non-members. Standard prices are $500 for members, $650 for non-members, and $700 at the door.
Ticket prices for
INBOUND are markedly higher. Early birds can expect to shell out $799, standard registrants $1,499. That said, a special $149 pass will get you in the door for the keynotes, happy hours and concert.
And students can get tickets at a substantial discount.
Registration for the two events will remain separate. Go to FutureM.org and Inbound.com for details.
