AdMarketplace, a programmatic marketplace for search advertising, has announced the appointment of John Tolson as executive director of client relations and development. He will oversee agency development in the new role, per a release.
Tolson was formerly at GroupM, where he most recently served as managing director and senior partner at GroupM Next.
“[Tolson] will play a key role in educating the industry on the
value of programmatic search advertising and how it can deliver performance at scale for brands,” stated James Hill, CEO of adMarketplace.
AdMarketplace last week introduced programmatic bidding to its search marketing platform.
