PointRoll, a Gannett company, on Wednesday announced the appointment of John Galvin as its chief technology officer. He replaces Brian Goss, who left PointRoll late last year.

“John’s experience building next-generation SaaS platforms married to large-scale enterprise development affords us a key advantage as we prepare for future applications of dynamic cross-screen ad delivery,” stated Mario Diez, CEO of PointRoll.

Galvin was previously CTO and VP of engineering at Hoopla Software, a SaaS platform for sales management, per a release.
