WPP’s Xaxis this week announced the appointment of Sawoto (Stephan) Yoshii as country manager, Japan.

Yoshii joins Xaxis from Opt, a Dentsu-affiliated marketing firm, per a release. At Opt, Yoshii led client services and business development for the agency’s programmatic ops.

“Japan is one of the most connected countries in the world and Sawato’s experience and background will be hugely beneficial to our efforts as we continue to expand our operations across the region,” stated Michel de Rijk, Xaxis’ managing director, APAC. "I am pleased to welcome him to the Xaxis APAC management team.”
