WideOrbit Taps Burdick As EVP Of Digital & Programmatic

Ad management software firm WideOrbit, which took a serious step into the programmatic ad space this summer with its acquisition of supply-side platform (SSP) Admeta, has further invested in programmatic tech with the appointment of Brian Burdick as EVP of digital and programmatic.

Burdick will be based in the company’s Seattle, Wash. office and will oversee WideOrbit’s digital and programmatic business globally, per a release. In addition to Admeta, the company has acquired other ad tech companies such as Fivia and Abacast and also operates an online ad exchange.

Burdick has held executive positions at Microsoft AdCenter, AdECN, PrecisionDemand (acquired by AOL) and Specific Media.
