The nearly month-long standoff between the satellite pay TV provider and Time Warner cable network group returns Turner networks CNN, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, truTV, TCM, HLN, CNN en Espanol and Boomerang — and extends carriage deals of TBS and TNT — to Dish subscribers.

In a joint statement, the companies didn’t elaborate much — only that they had “mutually decided to restore service."

The initial concern was when Turner networks, including CNN, were taken off Dish back on October 21. Concerning TBS and TNT, there was a December 5 carriage deadline with Dish. Turner began warning Dish customers this past week via on-air promos and the networks’ Web sites about a possible stoppage of those channels on the pay TV service.

At the same time, CBS and Dish earlier this week agreed to extend its deadline while it looks to compete carriage negotiations. The carriage contract was set to expire on Thursday.

If that wasn’t enough, Comcast's regional sports network Comcast SportsNet now warns about its upcoming carriage deadline with Dish Network. Regional networks, including CSN Chicago, CSN Mid-Atlantic, CSN Bay Area and CSN California, will expire on Dish the first week in December.

Like CBS and Turner previously, Comcast sports networks started up a marketing campaign to allow its viewers to be aware of a  possible Dish service disruption.
