Frawley Takes CEO Reins At Epsilon

Global marketing firm Epsilon has promoted Andy Frawley to CEO. He succeeds Bryan Kennedy who the company said is stepping up to lead the combined Epsilon-Conversant entity.

Epsilon agreed to acquire Conversant (formerly known as ValueClick) for $2.3 billion in September. Kennedy’s immediate task is to orchestrate the integration of the two companies. Earlier the firm bought Hyper Marketing for $460 million, which brought marketing services firms such as Ryan Partnership, SolutionSet, CatapultRPM and Getmembers.com into the Epsilon fold.

Previously Frawley was president of Epsilon, which he joined in 2009. The newly minted CEO “brings tremendous expertise and strong relationships across our organization as well as Epsilon’s vast client base and the broader marketing industry,” said Kennedy, to whom Frawley will continue to report.

“Over the last several years we have been working diligently to build a balanced portfolio of integrated services that together enable our clients to better identify, understand and engage their customers across channels in a way that bonds people to brands, creates compelling customer experiences and drives measurable business outcomes,” said Frawley. With Conversant in the fold, he added, “clients have access to pure digital capabilities that will enrich our ability to engage their customers in vital digital channels including display, mobile and video.”

In October, Epsilon, part of Dallas-based Alliance Data, began a major rebranding designed to reflect the company’s evolution to a full-service global marketing operation.
