Retailers Got More Personal in Email Last Year

Retailers sent more personalized email marketing messages last year and less discounts, according to a study by email marketing firm Listrak. These companies also got more proactive about list building, encouraging web visitors to sign up for their lists as soon as they entered their site. According to the report, personalized emails sent by the Top 500 retailers was up 22.2 percent in 2014.
