OpenX, an ad tech firm founded in 2008, on Monday announced it surpassed $100 million in revenue in 2014.

The company says its core monetization units -- its ad exchange and SSP (supply-side platform) -- grew 70% year-over-year in the U.S.

OpenX also saw its mobile business grow 100% year-over-year, and says mobile now represents 25% of its inventory. In late 2013, OpenX bet on mobile by hiring four executives to new positions focused on mobile.
