Vserv, a Mumbai, India-based mobile ad platform, on Tuesday announced it has raised $11 million in funding from Maverick Capital Ventures, the venture capital arm of Maverick Capital.

The latest round brings Vserv’s total funding to $18 million. Vserv launched a mobile ad exchange last year as it transitioned from an ad network to an ad exchange.

“We are delighted to be [Maverick Capital Ventures’ ] first venture capital investment in India as they bring capital and deep technology domain expertise,” stated Dippak Khurana, co-founder and CEO of Vserv.
