KBS Adds CRM Specialist Kenna To Its 'Stack'

MDC Partners’ KBS is adding customer relationship management shop Kenna, also part of MDC, to its portfolio of specialist agencies.

The 150-staff agency -- originally acquired by MDC Partners in 2010 -- provides CRM solutions and services for clients in the B2B and B2C sectors.

Now, as part of KBS, the Toronto-based Kenna will provide data analytics services to all of KBS’s offices and teams, which are located in New York, Canada, LA, London and Shanghai.

“As we grow KBS's marketing stack globally, we are continuing to add new capabilities that can bolster our offering around the globe,” said Guy Hayward, Global CEO of KBS. “We’re delighted that Kenna will be adding their CRM expertise, and we work forward to incorporating them seamlessly into our other specialisms so we can continue to provide the best service to our clients all under one roof.”

As part of the arrangement, Kenna CEO Glenn Chilton will work closely with KBS’s leadership — Hayward, Steve McCall, CEO, KBS Canada and KBS Toronto president Nick Dean — to integrate agency teams.

The Kenna Toronto office will be combined with KBS Toronto, while the Kenna Mississauga office (not far from Toronto) will remain at its current location and be led by current Managing Director and Executive Vice President, Jeffrey Bowles. As with other KBS portfolio agencies like Media Kitchen and Attention, Kenna will continue to operate under its own name.
