DSP Adadyn Opens Office In NYC

Adadyn, an ad tech firm with a demand-side platform (DSP), this week announced several expansion plans, including the opening of a second office in the U.S. The company’s new New York City office gives Adadyn a shop on the east coast; the company already has its headquarters in San Francisco.

Additionally, the company has hired two new executives to help lead operations in the U.S. and abroad. Rob Sopkic joins the company as SVP of sales, and Rowena Patrao has been named VP of platform engineering.

Sopkic was previously VP of sales at Sociomantic Labs. Prior to that, he was regional vice president of retargeting firm Criteo. He is based in San Francisco, per his LinkedIn page.

Patrao joins Adadyn from Edifecs and has also recently held software and engineering roles at Microsoft and Amazon. Per her LinkedIn page, she is based in India. Adadyn has an office in India.

According to a release, Adadyn intends to have at least 20 employees working from its U.S. offices and 120 employees globally within the next six months. Nearly all planned hires are tech related -- data scientists, software engineers, and the like. Real-Time Daily was told that the company currently has roughly a dozen employees based in the U.S.

Adadyn has also opened an office in Singapore to expand into the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, per a release.
