Journalism.co.uk details a new report by the Centre of Community Journalism and innovation charity Nesta that examines the state of hyper-local media. “An analysis of the content produced by
local and hyperlocal media showed that some of the news and topics covered by the two overlap, such as politics, sports and business,” it writes. The research was commissioned by Cardiff
University's Centre of Community Journalism and Nesta.
