CertainSource Releases B2C Email Retargeting Solution

CertainSource, an eWayDirect company focused on email marketing and customer acquisition, unveiled CertainSource 3.0 today, which allows consumer brands to retarget customers that have fallen out of the sales funnel.

“By adding in the ability to retarget those that have fallen out of the funnel prior to converting in the latest version of our solution, we are enabling brands to scale significantly over time without increasing media budgets,” stated CertainSource CEO Neil Rosen.

According to the company, CertainSource’s email retargeting can double the overall conversions for major consumer brands from a single media buy in as little as six months.

So far, Publisher’s Clearing House, Gerber and Palm Beach Jewelry have all run successful campaigns utilizing the new functionality.

Email retargeting, says Rosen, is not unlike display retargeting. However, it hasn’t been made easy because, he says, “there’s been a wall built between acquisition and CRM… scaling acquisition created threats towards email service providers.”

Rosen says his and his company’s history of working with ESPs and the tech that CertainSource has built established a positive track record that allowed them to build the retargeting functionality without stepping on any toes.

The new solution also represents an immense ROI opportunity. The platform itself points out high performing lead sources and recommends buying more.

Gerber, Publisher’s Clearing House and Palm Beach Jewelry each cover very different markets but, says Rosen. The success of their campaigns illustrates that a good prospect and customer resource management system combined with retargeting works — no matter what industry it’s applied to.

“We have relied on CertainSource to grow our database of prospects, for the past three years, and have regularly seen three to four times our spend in revenue from the pool of prospects they deliver,” stated Michele Gerstein, marketing director at Palm Beach Jewelry.
