Ram Truck Partners With Rolling Stone Country

Ram truck, a division of Fiat Chrysler Automotive (FCA), is partnering with Rolling Stone's country-music portal, which RS launched in June last year. The deal means Ram is now official automotive partner of the Rolling Stone Country Web site, wherein the Ram marque and advertising is installed in the site, including in the site’s design. It also gets top billing on content features like “Ram Report,” a daily video series detailing the latest in the genre.

The report has such topical features as an interview with Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum. Kelley, who is releasing his first solo album, and who will perform at the invite-only “Rolling Stone Country Live: Nashville” event, presented by Ram, Nov. 3.

As part of the partnership, Ram will also create a custom video series next year for Rolling Stone Country, that Ram says will feature exclusive music performances and Q&As with artists in Nashville. Rolling Stone Country will also serve as Ram’s media partner for Ram's pre-Academy of Country Music Awards event in April. That content will be on both Rolling Stone and Ram properties, according to the parties.

FCA's global CMO Olivier Francois said it looks for relationships and content that reach target audiences who index high among truck buyers. “Rolling Stone has been the authority on all things music and pop culture for nearly 50 years and their new dedicated genre hub, launched last year, has been critically acclaimed with the artist community as a solid, reputable and quality editorial destination.”
