London Record Label Uses Steve Albini's Email Rant as Billboard Promoting New Album

Record label Diagonal has used an email rant to help promote its new dance single. Essentially the label head who has an electronic project called Powell wanted to use a vocal sample of artist Steve Albini from the time he was in the band Big Black. Albini gave him permission, but also explained how much he hates dance music in the email. Powell got Albini's permission to use the email and printed it as a billboard in London.
