JWT New York Grows Its Puma Business

Golf equipment, footwear and apparel company Cobra Puma Golf has appointed J. Walter Thompson New York as its lead creative agency. The incumbent was VML. Both agencies are part of WPP. 

This appointment comes two years after parent company Puma named JWT New York its global lead creative agency. 

A subsidiary of Puma since 2010, Cobra Puma Golf is comprised of two brands: Cobra Golf, which manufacturers clubs and accessories, and Puma Golf, which makes apparel, footwear and accessories. 

JWT will now begin work on a global brand campaign, comprising communications strategy, campaign development and production including television, print, digital, social media and analytics.
