Eleven Lands Citrix Spinoff GoTo

In November, Citrix Systems announced it was spinning off its GoTo business software unit as a separate publicly traded company.

Now, Eleven has been selected as the lead ad agency for the GoTo division, which includes GoToAssist, GoToMeeting, GoToMyPC and other products.

The San Francisco-based agency won the account following a competitive review.

Eleven’s first campaign for the GoTo product line will launch in the second half of 2016, which is when the spinoff is expected to be completed. The software-as-a-service spin-off will have an estimated $600 million in revenue according to Citrix.

Chris Hylen, who currently serves as senior vice president and general manager of the Citrix Mobility Apps Business Unit, will serve as CEO of the new company.

"The GoTo product family hosts over 60 million meetings a year, and we are uniquely positioned to help our customers achieve business value," stated David Kirven, vice president of global marketing, Citrix. "We wanted a partner with a thoughtful and strategic approach to our vision. Eleven demonstrated a firm understanding of our business objectives and we are eager to get to work."
