Checking Work Email After Hours is Bad For Your Health

Answering work emails or calls around the clock can be bad for your health. A recent study led by Jan Dettmers at the University of Hamburg and published in the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, found that workers that have to be "on call," outside regular working hours had higher levels of the stress hormone cortisol and were often in a worse mood.
