As part of a promotional partnership for the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War,” Pizza Hut and Marvel have launched a digital hub offering exclusive videos and stills from the movie.
The PizzaHut.com/CaptainAmerica hub serves as a housing agent for content unlocked by ordering at www.pizzahut.com.
In addition, it offers a quiz/registration form allowing users to pick which side they should root for—Captain America or Iron Man—for the chance to win sweeps prizes that include a trip to a future Marvel movie premiere, behind-the-scenes access to a Marvel prop house, and prop replicas.
Pizza Hut is supporting the promotional deal with an adult-targeted campaign that includes a TV spot featuring footage from the movie and two movie-themed pizza boxes, each featuring one of the superheroes.
The pizza chain is using the movie tie-in to promote its $5 Flavor Menu, a new addition to that menu, Stuffed Garlic Knots.
The movie debuts May 6.
