Former Mediabrands Chief Seiler Lands Top Marketing Role At Studio71

Former Interpublic Mediabrands’ Chairman Matt Seiler has taken a senior marketing role with German media conglomerate ProSiebenSat.1 Group. Seiler, who stepped down as CEO of Mediabrands in May 2015, will serve as president-marketing solutions of Studio71, a multichannel digital network subsidiary of ProSiebenSat.1, which claims 5 billion monthly views across 1,200 channels.

He will report to Studio71 CEO Reza Izad.

Studio71 said it delivered more than 500 “custom brand executions” and produced and published more than 1,500 YouTube videos for major brands including Hormel, Coca-Cola, Dunkin Donuts, Estee Lauder, Nissan, Wendy’s and Verizon last year.

Prior to serving as IPG Mediabrands chairman, Seiler was CEO of Omnicom’s PHD unit, and previously worked at BBDO and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.

After leaving Interpublic, Seiler indicated that he was most interested in working on the content side of the business.
