Nielsen To Roll San Francisco Into National Meter Sample

Nielsen Media Research Friday said it plans to integrate the local people meter sample households from its San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose market area into its national people meter sample. Nielsen did not say when the integration would be completed, but the company has a long-standing plan of integrating its local people meter samples into its national sample to boost its national base. San Francisco officially became a local people meter market on Dec. 30, 2004.
