Intelliseek Upgrades BlogPulse

  • March 29, 2005
Online buzz-monitoring firm Intelliseek yesterday said it is upgrading its BlogPulse.com portal to 2.0 status. The improved service has expanded to monitor 9.3 million blogs; has extended its retrievable archive from 60 days to six months; and offers a daily count of blog activity and analysis. Users can also create their own customized graphs, which track themes and issues within the blogosphere that are relevant to them.

Previously, BlogPulse would only search a URL's home page, whereas BlogPulse 2.0 now searches an entire Web site for relevant results. "The new BlogPulse searches faster, digs deeper, and slices data smarter," Pete Blackshaw, Intelliseek's chief marketing officer, said in a company statement.
