Bridg Launches CRM Solution For Restaurant Industry

Bridg, a Big Data company specializing in restaurant brands, announced the launch of a new customer relationship management (CRM) solution on Monday for the dining industry.

Bridg Enhanced CRM helps restaurant vendors power digital marketing by combining siloed data sources into one holistic profile, including data taken from point-of-sale (POS) transactions, email marketing, loyalty rewards programs and online ordering.

With data science, Bridg Enhanced CRM can then pinpoint growth opportunities for restaurants by identifying the buying patterns of individual customers.

“Restaurant brands today have found themselves with a growing number of separate customer databases,” states Amit Jain, founder and chief executive officer at Bridg. “They are typically disconnected and each containing a small, varying portion of information. Until now, a unified and complete view of the restaurant guest has been missing. Bridg’s new CRM solution drives comp growth by identifying individual buying patterns of audience segments — the results are immediate, measurable and cost-effective.”

A recent poll of 1,000 consumers who frequent casual dining restaurants by Tillster suggests that email is the most preferred form of marketing for restaurant-goers. More than 70% of respondents selected email marketing as their most preferred notification service, while 35% selected text messages and 28% prefer social media.

Tillster’s study also suggests that consumers are willing to sign up for email marketing newsletters in exchange for dining promotional deals. Just under 90% of consumers asserted that they would likely be willing to sign up for an email newsletter for offers and promotional deals if offered, while 76% of respondents stated they would exchange their email address and name in exchange for personalized news and offers from restaurants.

In fact, 37% of respondents say that an email from a causal dining facility motivated them to visit the restaurant within the last month.

Tillster provides digital ordering and engagement services for restaurants, including clients Applebee’s, Outback Steakhouse and Taco Bell.
