GetResponse Releases Application To Create And Sync Webinars

Online marketing platform GetResponse announced the release of a new mobile application Tuesday that streamlines the webinar planning process and integrates it with email marketing.

The mobile application, GetResponse Webinars, is available now on both Android and iOS devices.

The webinars are supported with email reminders and notifications from GetResponse’s email services. In addition, webinar registrants can be instantly added to GetResponse drip campaigns with automated follow-up emails.

Originally launched as an email marketing service in 1998, GetResponse has since grown into a comprehensive online marketing platform with a host of solutions ranging from landing page creation to marketing automation.

Simon Grabowski, CEO of GetResponse, says webinars can support and expand email marketing campaigns by making them more interactive, propelling lead generation and encouraging brand loyalty. He describes how webinars help bring customers into the funnel, thus allowing marketers to expand their email lists and drive new revenue-generating opportunities.

Webinars are not just restricted to B2B marketing, however, and Grabowski says consumer-facing marketers can also find value in adding webinars to email marketing campaigns.

“Webinars are often assumed to be a B2B marketing tool, where attention spans are greater due to longer sales cycles,” says Grabowski, citing how only 40% of B2C marketers today use webinars. “But they have real value for B2C organizations -- particularly in terms of sourcing feedback and building deeper relationships with existing customers."

Grabowski suggests that B2C marketers considering webinars should tailor the content, keeping in mind the shorter attention span. That means top-notch speakers and having ultra-compelling content to share.

GetResponse Webinars allow marketers to manage online webinars from their mobile devices. Invites can be sent directly from the mobile application, syncing with digital calendars directly, to enable webinars to be scheduled in minutes. A marketer can present to up to 1,000 invitees from the GetResponse Webinar application, including a live stream of up to four videos and audio sources.

GetResponse provides a selection of webinar invitation templates for marketers to use, and webinar content can be easily shared on Twitter and Facebook . Additional product features include a wide range of webinar analytics that can be leveraged to optimize future performances.  GetResponse also provides in-depth analytics on webinar participation.

GetResponse claims to have more than 350,000 customers in 182 countries.
