IPG Mediabrands Creates Chief Data & Marketing Tech Officer Role, Taps Cadreon's Kumar For It

Arun Kumar has been named chief data & marketing technology officer of IPG Mediabrands, a new role inside Interpublic’s media operations.

Kumar, who most recently was global president of Mediabrands trading desk Cadreon, previously was global market head of Mediabrands’ Media Audience Platform (MAP).

In his new role, Kumar will be responsible for all “data-driven solutions,” as well as the analytics infrastructure of Mediabrands.

He reports to Philippe Krakowsky, chairman of IPG Mediabrands and chief strategy officer of Interpublic.
