RT (Russia Today) has hit out at calls from MPs to ban it from broadcasting in the UK because it is funded by The Kremlin.
Press Gazette reports the channel claims it is a pawn in the
political row between the UK and the Russia over the nerve agent attack on a former Russian spy, his daughter and a policeman who came to their assistance.
