Yahoo Finance Expands Live Programming Lineup

Yahoo Finance now has eight hours of live programming for bell-to-bell live market coverage.

Previously, Yahoo Finance had three daily shows: “Market Movers,” “Morning Meeting” and “Midday Movers.”

Those shows have been renamed “The First Trade,” “YFi AM” and “On the Move,” respectively. They will air every morning starting at 9 a.m. ET.

Following these three shows, two new shows will air: “YFi PM” and “The Ticker.”

Starting at 3 p.m., “The Final Round" will continue to air, extending to two hours.

A weekly program, hosted by Yahoo Fiance’s editor-in-chief, “Influencers with Andy Serwer,” will air Thursdays at 5 p.m.

The expanded live programming line-up follows a year of staff and content production growth at Yahoo Finance.

Yahoo Finance added anchors Adam Shapiro (formerly of Fox Business), Julie Hyman (formerly of Bloomberg TV) and Jackie DeAngelis (formerly of CNBC) to the team.

The eight hours of programming will stream on the Yahoo Finance site, the Yahoo Finance app and Apple TV, with select shows and special events available live and on-demand on the Roku Channel.

The shows aim to provide commentary on breaking news, political stories, pop culture moments and the day’s stock market activity.
