New Email Tool From DoubleClick

Today, DoubleClick Inc will unveil a new software product for sending email advertisements that will help companies target specific customer segments. The company said its new DartMail 3.5 will help advertisers segment and analyze their customers according to demographics and shopping habits. In addition to helping advertisers segment their customer data to launch more targeted ads, DartMail 3.5 also helps track customer transactions in more detail, recording such information as the value of a given purchase and whether it was made in direct response to an e-mail transaction.
