In addition, a recent Parks Associates publication determined that by 2005 US households will have 80 million connection points with which entertainment applications will be compatible.
As part of its E-Home 2001 report, the study also determined that households with broadband in particular have a higher interest in entertainment applications than internet households in general.
eMarketer's newest report from International Development Group predicts that by 2004 there will be over 50 million US homes with internet-enabled gaming consoles. It says that there will be an installed base of over 95 million major-label gaming consoles in general in the US.
