Online Marketing Excellence by Industry Sector and Websites Activism/Public Service: Non-Profit, Hear Her Campaign

Maternal morbidity disproportionately affects women of color. The CDC Hear Her campaign featured 40 African American and Latinx influencers who shared their experiences with pregnancy. The plan was to empower women to become their own health advocates by learning to recognize the warning signs and seek help from their support system and healthcare providers. The campaign included 27 posts on Instagram and Facebook, 17 in-feed posts and 10 Instagram stories. It drew an 11.2% engagement rate, over 15,500 engagement actions and 7 million total impressions.
