FreeWheel Names First Chief Strategy Officer

FreeWheel, Comcast’s ad-tech business, has named Soo Jin Oh to be its first chief strategy officer. 

Oh will work with FreeWheel leadership to develop strategic plans, enhance business operations and "establish strong relationships within the advertising landscape,” according to the company. 

She will be based in New York and report to FreeWheel General Manager Mark McKee. 

Oh has more than 15 years’ experience in media and digital leading strategy, product and operations efforts. She joins FreeWheel from Gamut, where she rose from vice president, client strategy and solutions to president in five years. Prior to Gamut, she served as a senior leader in data business and ad operations at Magnetic, IDG TechNetwork and DogTime Media, Inc. (now Evolve Media), among other roles. She began her career as an account manager at Google.
